Right to Repair (Digital Electronic Products)

Summary

Requires manufacturers of digital electronic products — including laptops, cell phones, and many home appliances — to provide parts, tools, and documentation to owners and independent repairers on fair and reasonable terms, and prohibits parts pairing for products made or sold in Washington on or after January 1, 2026.
